Job Overview
As a Technician IV, you will perform advanced electrical and controls maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems. You will diagnose complex issues, execute preventative and corrective maintenance, and support production stability through collaboration and technical expertise. This role involves working across various phases of the manufacturing process while adhering to operational standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and control system issues, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) from Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, Aromat, and OMRON.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as rectifiers, motor controls, and power supplies.
- Install and maintain wiring, conduit, and related electrical components.
- Support mechanical repairs and collaborate with other technicians to resolve operational challenges.
- Utilize blueprints, schematics, and electrical testing devices (e.g., ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes) to troubleshoot and verify system integrity.
- Monitor and participate in manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with operational standards and production regulations.
- Assist in scheduling and resource allocation to meet changing production requirements.
1st Shift 7 AM to 3 PM Monday to Friday.
What your background should look like
- Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical training preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial electronics and maintenance Or 4–5 years with AA degree or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
