Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Your main tasks

    SCP tasks and performance improvement:
•    Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures. Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service)q
•    Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs): inventory levels, on time delivery, stock rotation, lates, and corrective actions when needed.
•    Implement, maintain (including reporting changes) and improve Business Operating System in his/her area of intervention, as well as in interaction with other areas / departments and TE guidelines
•    Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks: shortages, bottlenecks,
•    Analyze and track customer order pattern as basis for SC configuration and optimization of customer interface
•    Ensure timely updates of Master Data in SAP
•    Monitor load, identify capacity shortages 
•    Proactively approach other functions and supply chain partners for end-to-end optimization

    Team Management:
•    Lead, coach, and develop a team
•    Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify training needs.
•    Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
•    Manage end-to-end optimization and enhance team skills.

Your ideal background

•    Master's degree or equivalent education  

•    Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain optimization and planning in comparable environment, close to manufacturing operations, preferable Automotive
•    Proven experience in organizational transformation, team leadership and team development 
•    Proven track record of supply chain improvements and related performance improvement results  
•    Wide range of planning experience (Capacity planning, supply planning, fine scheduling) 
•    Working experience with supply chain planning systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) 
•    Experience in the Automotive Sector within a global organization is an advantage
