Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Tasks and Responsibilities

 

Supply Chain department control:

  • Follow, maintain and control the standard workflows/ daily business to be executed by each SC planner (e.g. report creation)
  • Prepare analysis for product, demand, system and manufacturing characteristics for whole planning team
  • Extract and control the Master data parameters.
  • Measure impact of freight (inbound and outbound).

Drive Supply Chain organization initiatives:

  • Prepare VSM of New Projects and identify any room of improvement: potential localization projects (trade/Interco), freight amount and material burden to re-estimate; ….
  • Consolidate and identify the potential Capacity problems on components level, to have with any new project implementation
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure integrity of value stream NAF (Transfer teams, SQD, sales, SC, …)
  • Freight Analysis, inbound and outbound to monitor the performance and highlight any deviation on time
  • Proactively identify any potential risk impacting negatively the freight 
  • Diverse innovative projects to improve SC performance
  • Drive and support cross-department activities (ISC, GLOG, Production, S&OP, …)

Drive ECE across internal and external customers.

What your background should look like:

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain/Planning.
  • Proven track record of Supply Chain Improvements and related performance improvement results (e.g. inventory optimization, lot size optimization).
  • Good SAP & Reporting knowledge.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent in MS software.
  • Strong communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas.
  • Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude (“driver for change”).
  • Fluent in English speaking / writing.
