Oversee manufacturing quality within the assigned area to ensure products meet established quality, cost, delivery, and service standards, while promoting a strong quality culture, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all team members.

Your main tasks

  • Quality Control Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate daily quality control activities on the shop floor.
    • Ensure inspections, tests, and measurements are performed according to defined procedures and control plans.
    • Ensure that the first inspections, in-process controls, and final inspections are performed.
    • Ensure proper use and calibration of measuring, testing equipment and gages.
  • Non-Conformity & Corrective Actions
    • Identify, analyze, and report non-conformities (internal, supplier, and customer-related).
    • Lead root cause analysis (e.g. 5 Why, Fishbone) and define corrective and preventive actions.
    • Follow up on action plans to ensure effectiveness and closure.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949…).
    • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
    • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise, coach, and train quality control inspectors and team leaders.
    • Allocate resources and organize shifts to meet production and quality needs.
    • Promote a strong quality mindset and accountability within the team.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Analyze quality data and KPIs (scrap rate, defect rate, PPM, etc.).
    • Propose and implement improvement actions to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
    • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve process capability

Your ideal background

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team-lead role is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, 8D).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills with operators, management, and customers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Strong presentation skills (written and oral).
