Job Overview
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead the ME department in the plant
- Calculation of assembly equipment, manage budget & timeline and realization
- Responsible to develop assembly manufacturing concepts to meet our TEOA requirements
- Balancing the resources between the ME departments
- Build and drive effective teams to develop best concepts to produce our products.
- Work close together with product engineering to reach a higher level in DFM
- Reduce time to market
- Collaborate with purchasing to source tools & automation for assembly equipments
- Drive initiatives for plant productivity increase, automation initiative, material saving, and cost reduction
- Platform development (risk minimizing, cost, reuse, utilisation)
- Ensure best practices and lessons learned across all functions
- Leadership, talent and ME skill development
- Efficiency increase in indirect areas
- Supervise the equipment maintenance activity and maintenance teams
What your background should look like:
Qualifications
- Master degree in Science/Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in various Engineering/manufacturing Process development/Operations Management.
- 3+ years of Management Experience
Key Requirements
- Strong background in technical concepts and machines / tools
- Six Sigma degree is preferable
- Fluent in English and French both written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Culturally sensitive
