TE Connectivity's Mold Makers apply knowledge of mold design and construction to the construction, conditioning, modification, repair and maintenance of injection and transfer molds, gauges, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures. In some instances they may fabricate new molds by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Your main tasks

Coordinate the preparation of the work schedule considering capacity and knowledge within the department and in consultation with other departments where needed

Manage employees within the department to ensure productivity quality and achievement of department objectives

Monitor coach motivate and develop employees on a daily basis

Manage machinery maintenance repairs and replacements

Coordinate and initiate tool optimizations

Assist with current daily quality problems

Monitor TPM activities on injection molds

Work closely with the design department and T and D

Ensure compliance with occupational safety in mold making

Support TEOA implementation and monitor relevant KPIs

Handle internal and external tool shop reporting and communication

Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement and provide technical support

Your ideal background

Master's degree in Engineering
Must have 4-5 years of experience in Toolshop. 
Previous experience Automotive systems and Molding
Proven ability to lead/drive change.
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and drive 
solutions and corrective action.
Strong aptitude in, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word
Knowledge of SAP, excel, Pro Engineer/Creo ... is a plus.
