The Engineer is proposing, realizing, supervising technical solutions, CAD models, drawings of details, Assembly drawings and sub assembly drawings, based on assembly, schematics, or specifications:

Execute or/and supervise different plans and schematics necessary for constitution of complete technical folder.

The engineer guarantees the technical feasibility of proposed solutions taking in consideration knowhow of customer, constraints of Tools & Dies and Manufacturing Engineering.

Your main tasks

• Respecting the procedures established by TE connectivity applicable for product development and customers specifications.
• Pilot the “Design to cost”, “Design reuse” ….
• Create or/and Design FMEA and Design revues.
• Create or/and supervise technical documentation related to product development example Product specifications, application specifications and packaging instructions.
• Must assure that the Intellectual property of TE is preserved in all circumstances, precisely should not be divulgate any novel principle for customer without previous confidentiality agreement (NDA) and having a patent request already establish with the intellectual counsel of TE.
• Must assure that all the innovative ideas should be submitted as a patent request to the direction of IP EMEA of TE;
• Participate the product qualification, precisely the analysis of metrology and follow-up of testing ….
• Take decision on parts conformity according to specification.
• Assure the good project documentation management under PLM (Program Central) and respecting all the rules of documentation classification.
• Participate in the PPAP documentation creation and preparation.
• Follow the Product Life cycle of developed products, propose and follow improvement, normalize the changes on the product under TE system EC TEC change.
• Follow Duplications, replacements, and transfers of technical equipment of production and formalize the approval of equipment in the TE systems (Production release).

Your ideal background

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 4+ years of experience in Automotive industry
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of automotive standards and manufacturing processes is a plus 
• Strong communication skills (French/English)
• Good level in Chinese (Mandarin) is required
