Job Overview
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support Assembly Line: Ensure smooth startup, ramp-up, and centerlines of assembly machines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Process & Quality Improvement: Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and lead cost-reduction projects (e.g., line flow and process improvements).
- New Product Integration: Collaborate with Design Engineering and Project Management to transition new products to production, ensuring smooth implementation.
- Production Support: Ensure adequate equipment, tooling, and documentation meet TE Quality System requirements.
- Engineering & Process Optimization: Conduct capability studies, implement corrective actions, and support engineering changes due to product updates or material shortages.
- Safety & Compliance: Work with Production and EHS teams to enforce safety measures and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement & Mentorship: Stay updated on manufacturing innovations, contribute to management discussions, and mentor assembly personnel.
What your background should look like:
- Engineering degree in mechanical/electrical or electromechanical engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of similar experience.
- Experience in fully automatic and precise processes
- Detailed knowledge in complicated fully automatic machines.
- Prove and effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge in machine vision and PLC programming.
- Excellent communications skills (oral & written).
