Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Your main tasks

Value Stream Leadership
•Lead the high-speed stamping value stream from raw material to finished stamped product.
•Coordinate with planning, toolshop, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
•Drive alignment with TE’s lean manufacturing system (TEOA – TE Operating Advantage).

Operational Excellence
•Ensure stamping operations meet daily production targets with minimal downtime.
•Oversee OEE / OEU performance, scrap reduction, and die changeover efficiency.
•Maintain equipment health, die condition monitoring, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Lean Transformation
•Apply TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) principles to optimize material flow, minimize WIP, and reduce lead time.
•Champion continuous improvement through Kaizen, Gemba walks, root cause analysis, and standard work implementation.
•Lead process improvement workshops and train team members on lean tools.

Team Development
•Manage, coach, and develop a team of supervisors, setup Man, and operators.
•Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
•Support talent development, cross-training, and succession planning within the team.
•Develop the necessary skills for the activity. 

Quality & Compliance
•Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer-specific standards.
•Support internal and external audits, PPAP submissions, and problem-solving efforts (8D, 5-Why).
•Collaborate with quality engineers to implement robust process controls and corrective actions.

Cost & Inventory Management
•Manage labor, material usage, and scrap to deliver cost savings and margin improvement.
•Work closely with supply chain to align production schedules with material availability.
•Optimize inventory levels. 

Your ideal Background

•Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•6+ years of experience in metal stamping in an automotive manufacturing environment.
•Strong leadership background managing production or value stream teams in a lean environment.
•In-depth knowledge of progressive die stamping presses, and automation systems.
•Proficient with ERP/MES systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office, and manufacturing KPIs.
