Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

The TEOA & TE Best Analyst Sustaining is responsible to support all initiatives of the organization in order to reach excellence performance in all areas of the defined department KPI’s by leading improvement projects towards TE Best technical solutions. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Define the right project team set-up, negotiate resources, conduct regular Go-Meetings and prepare/maintain an Open Point Tracking list
  • Dedicated assignments and targets will be defined by Sr Project Manager Business Case Evaluation & TEOA and/or the Director Sustaining Tooling Capacity 
  • Support the Sustaining Project Managers team by analysing data, generating improvement ideas and drive improvements to allow the closure of the projects on time and support the overall target approach to shorten the time to market of sustaining projects from appr. 2 years to less than 1 year within the next two years of project work. 
  • Support to develop fast track decisions in all project phases from request to industrialization, including e.g. make/ buy decisions, value stream, CER and business case preparation, if needed. 
  • Be the advocate for TE Best technology choices
  • Support market driven time to market decisions, screen CER’s on technical and financial TE standards
  • Support to bridge the EMEA sustaining approach with global localization ideas
  • Solve project related cross functional issues between team members and work on quick and pragmatic solutions.
  • He/She supports the defined system development initiatives and raises ideas for improvements.
  • He/She supports to maintain and develop the “Sustaining Tool App” towards a more effective and efficient data base.
  • He/She is accountable for following the relevant standards, e.g. QMP and SWI, and is responsible to raise improvement ideas.
     

What your background should look like:

 

Educational Degree
Professional Lean Management, Kaizen and/or Data Analyst with a technical and project management background (toolmaker, mechanical engineer, business administration) with 3 years on job experience 

Professional Experience  

  • Lean Management and Kaizen
  • Project management and Data analysis
  • Good Knowledge about tool and equipment build
  • Highly engaged person and strong assertiveness wanted

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  • Project leadership skills
  • Customer orientation and high level of dedication
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English, or other local language
  • Used to work with MS Office programs and company specific software

  • Drivers license class B
  •  Willingness for limited travel <10%
