Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Master Scheduler is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and reviews the demand and supply plan taking into consideration the constraints in the short-term and its impact on the KPIs. The set up of all relevant planning systems needs to be supervised providing accurate and up-to-date information which in turn drives capacity and material availability against our customer orders in line with the overall TE Connectivity Morocco Automotive strategy.

Production Scheduler main tasks:
•Generate rough-cut capacity plan for production and supply with a target of balancing KPI performance and load levelling
•Analyze the load (machine, tool, labor) of the plant in the short- to mid term horizon (weeks 1-13 of the planning horizon) and propose resource allocations regarding the customer requirements
•Ensure the adequate systems settings to promote an optimized constraint rough cut supply plan (Master data Views) 
•Review schedule in collaboration with Materials, Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing/Customer Service personnel to fulfil the weekly MPS plan (Schedule Attainment)
•Continuously monitor the impact on the main KPIs (inventory, ship-to-request, lates)
•Review and synchronize the weekly MPS plan with the monthly S&OP process
•Manage the preserial phase of NPI and transfers in term of raw material ordering, sampling planning and capacity 

What your background should look like:

Engineer or Master’s degree in logistics/supply chain management

less than  3 years experience
