Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

 

The Logistics Analyst will oversee and manage various aspects within the Supply Chain department, focusing on control, optimization, and improvement of inventory management processes.

Task and Responsibilities

 

Supply Chain department control:

  • Follow up of inventory levels results and inventory turn for Manufacturing and distribution.
  • Develop Dashboard to follow the inventory trend evolution, and warehouse occupancy levels by Teams.
  • Prepare analysis for inventory clusters, dead stock, obsolete stock and customer variations.
  • Propose actions to reduce any deviation in inventories, and to optimize its levels (on components and FGs).
  • Ensure execution of scrap requests by planning team and coordinate with warehouse and quality team for the scrap execution.
  • Support system issues, drive system optimizations and liaise with key users, SAP teams.
  • Create and control MRP parameters optimization in execution with department lead.

Drive SC projects 

  • Leading & maintaining SC Configuration parameters (cross department activities, value stream analyses, master data [coverage profiles, Lot size, …).
  • Diverse innovative projects to improve SC KPIs.
  • Projection / Simulation of Inventory.
  • Drive ECE across internal and external customers.
  • Support SC team in SC performance improvements.

Qualifications and Experience required:

 

  • Bachelor/master’s degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain.
  • 3-5-year experience in Automotive supply chain management, preferably optimization of customer related supply chain processes.
  • Proven track record of Supply Chain Improvements and related performance improvement results (e.g. inventory optimization, lot size optimization).
  • Good SAP & Reporting knowledge.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent in MS software.
  • Strong communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas.
  • Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude (“driver for change”).
  • Fluent in English speaking / writing.
  • Solid in English, written and spoken.
