Jr. ME Project Engineer
Job Overview
Main missions
Project chief and primary point of contact, responsible for project roadmap definition and execution
- Align project team/stakeholders to ME strategy
- Manage projects from RFI/RFQ till full release
- Conduct acceptance process on-site and at supplier facility
- Elaborate and monitor project schedule
- Define and manage project budget, resources, engineering hours
- Drive projects KPIs and ensure targets are met
- Coordinate with different stakeholders from Procurement, supply chain, product engineering, operations,…
- Monitor and coordinate internal ME Team / Suppliers
- Conduct regular progress meetings, prepare status reports, and communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks or cost overruns
- Implement risk management strategies to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure that projects meet quality standards and comply with all EHS requierements.
- Maintain accurate and timely project reporting, including projects dashboards
- Maintain and manage comprehensive project documentation
- Capitalize and manage return of experience
- Lead parallel innovation projects
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Strong project monitoring & coordination skills, ability to lead complex projects, good technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical,…),
- Ability to analyze complex technical data and interpret engineering designs
- Good written and verbal communication to interact effectively with teams
- Problem solving capacity, result driven behavior, adaptability and resilience
- Experience with software use (MS Project, CAD tools, SAP,..)
- Advantageous:
Experience in assembly processes and special machinery development
Skills in VBA, PowerBI, dashboard development
Project management certification
