Job Overview

Designs, installs, maintains and tests electrical equipment and circuitry for the purposes of power generation, distribution and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior electricians and technicians to ensure skills development and high-quality execution.
  • Ensure all automation systems, electrical installations, and vision systems comply with safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Lead the installation, programming, and commissioning of PLCs, industrial cameras, sensors, and automation equipment, following engineering drawings and best practices.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in automation and vision systems using appropriate tools, software, and diagnostic methods.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement, system reliability, and process optimization.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for automation systems, modifications, and troubleshooting activities.

What your background should look like

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in industrial automation, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3 minimum) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline
  • Strong expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent) and industrial vision systems (camera inspection, defect detection, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of electrical schematics, control systems, and industrial communication protocols
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical activities in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in automotive or high-tech manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
  • Proficiency in industrial automation software (TIA Portal, Step7, Codesys, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with robot integration and advanced diagnostic tools.
