Job Overview
Your main tasks
• Manage the procurement process for the following commodity groups:
- Category 45: Equipment, Spares, and Supplies (e.g., Cutting Tools, Hand & Power Tools, PPE, Molding Equipment, Calibration Services, OEM Proprietary Spares, Rigging Services, Tool Crib Labor)
- Category 39: PARTS/SERVICES FOR EQUIPMENT
- Category 49: Indirect Chemicals & Gases (e.g., Lubricants, Adhesives, Inks, Lease of Bulk Gases)
- Category 83: Utilities (e.g., Electricity, Gas, Water, Renewable Energy, Oil, Sewer)
• Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure contract compliance
• Support cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance reviews, and sourcing strategies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (maintenance, engineering, EHS, finance) to understand technical needs and ensure proper specification alignment
• Support digital procurement tools and reporting for spend, savings, and supplier KPIs
• Ensure alignment with company policies and global sourcing standards
• Provide polyvalent support to the indirect sourcing team on cross-category tasks as needed
Your ideal background
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
• Proven experience in indirect procurement, ideally in MRO and utilities
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Technical knowledge in MRO categories and indirect spare parts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally
• Fluent in English and French/Arabic
