Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

What your background should look like:

Educational Degree

  • BAC+2 ou Bac +3 (BTS /DUT) in Mechanics, electrotechnic, electronic, electromechanical and “mesures physiques”.

Professional Experience (years in what processes and function)

  • 0 to 3 years experience in various Technical environment (Laboratory ideally) or areas of Metrology/Quality Assurance, in Manufacturing

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  • Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of trends and technologies in Dimensional Metrology domain.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.

Fluent in English.

  • Ability to interact with and contribute in cross-functional initiatives and discussions.

Other important things to note

• Precise, exactness, logic, Understand, analyse and synthesise one situation or some data collections. Being able to translate this in a clear way in writing or oral, self governing, curious, interested by the science.

• Knowledge of various Techniques and Software used for Dimensional Inspection of Molded and Stamped Parts.

• Knowledge of international standards and codes (ASME, ISO) related to product measurement and validation.

• Considerable Experience in any of 3D Metrology software

• Aptitude Physique:

• Adequate (or corrected) vision to read instruments.

• Ability to handle heavy or bulky equipment and samples, perform measurements in work environments.

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

• Aptitude Mental:

• High level of concentration to perform precise measurements and ensure result accuracy.

Good analytical thinking skills to interpret complex test data and identify inconsistencies.

Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve test anomalies or equipment malfunctions.

Emotional resilience and stress management, especially when working under tight deadlines or during audits.
