Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Power portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives
• Conduct comprehensive market research and customer discovery to identify future product requirements and technology trends
• Translate market and customer insights into a prioritized, actionable roadmap that drives competitive advantage
• Develop clear, segment-specific value propositions that differentiate TE’s power products in the marketplace
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing—to ensure strategic alignment and execution
Customer & Market Engagement
• Develop strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders to understand pain points, gather feedback, and validate product direction
• Represent the voice of the customer internally and ensure their needs are central to product decisions
• Support customer meetings, proposal development, and technical discussions to secure design-ins and new business opportunities
• Stay ahead of market trends, competitor moves, and regulatory changes to ensure TE’s Power portfolio remains industry-leading
Execution – Product Development & Launch
• Define technical requirements in a Product Requirement Document (PRD) that meets our customers needs.
• Work closely with R&D to ensure timely development of cost-optimized, high-performance solutions aligned with roadmap objectives
• Ensure seamless collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams during early development
• Continuously assess portfolio health and maintain a strong pipeline of future offerings
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Development, or a related function, preferably in power components, connectors, or industrial technology
• Strong understanding of power products, systems, and applications (e.g., high-current connectors, power distribution, energy storage, or related areas)
• Proven experience defining product roadmaps and strategies based on customer and market insight
• Technical background required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Masters preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills, with experience presenting to strategic customers
• Excellent analytical, planning, and communication abilities
• Capable of influencing and driving alignment across a global, matrixed organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
