Job Overview
The Digital Data Networks business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Product Manager for the Internal Cable and Connector product team (ICC), based in Taiwan.
The Product Manager needs to achieve profitable revenue growth targets of Internal Cables through developing product strategies and roadmaps, accelerating NPI process, improving response time to market, as well as executing footprint strategies.
In addition to the core ICC PM responsibilities, this role will have a strong focus on early engagement with Taiwan-based ODMs to identify opportunities at the concept, architecture, and pre-kickoff stages of customer projects, and to coordinate internally and externally to achieve design wins.
This role must closely collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to develop product leadership and operational excellence, with a strong focus on ensuring sufficient capacity, continuous supply, cost optimization, customer responsiveness, and design-win execution to enable healthy content and volume growth of TE ICC in the market.
This role also needs to work closely with ODM account coverage and OEM account teams to support global and local key customers, interlock project status between ODMs and OEMs, and enhance customer intimacy, responsiveness, and satisfaction.

What you will be doing:
• Understand ICC products and market trends, develop competitive product strategies and cost targets, and work with cross-functional teams to launch and maintain product portfolios that lead the market and meet customers’ expectations.
• Conduct competitive analysis
• Drive cost reductions including NPI key programs as well as PNs in HVM phase to improve overall ICC portfolio margin.
• Develop global footprint strategies to ensure ICC has sufficient capacity in right locations to support revenue growth targets.
• Support business growth and opportunity by engaging in product marketing events & customer visits
• Lead cross-functional teams to accelerate NPI process as well as improve response time to market and overall customer satisfaction.
• Build strong customer intimacy with Taiwan ODMs through regular engagement with engineering, PM, and architecture teams to understand early project direction, technical requirements, schedule, and decision criteria.
• Identify and develop opportunities at the earliest stage of customer programs, including before formal project kickoff, RFQ release, or NPI build planning.
• Coordinate externally with ODM customers and internally with Sales, FAE, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain to align product solutions, cost targets, capacity readiness, sample plans, qualification paths, and commercial strategy.
• Work closely with OEM account teams to interlock ODM and OEM project status, align on platform priorities, influence design direction, and secure TE ICC design wins.
• Track key ODM and OEM program developments, customer requirements, competitive positioning, risks, and action owners, and drive timely escalation when support or decisions are needed.
• Translate customer and market insights into product roadmap inputs, pricing strategy, footprint planning, and NPI prioritization for the ICC portfolio.
Qualification:
• >8 years of product management and/or project management experience
• Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute
• Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to effectively influence cross functional teams and to build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Strong customer-facing capability and demonstrated ability to build trust with ODM and/or OEM customers, especially in Taiwan-based design and NPI ecosystems.
• Experience engaging customers in early project phases, including opportunity discovery, technical/commercial alignment, pre-RFQ engagement, and design-win pursuit.
• Ability to interlock across ODM, OEM account teams, Sales, FAE, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to align project status, resolve gaps, and drive decisions.
• Knowledge of high-speed interconnect, cable assembly, connector, server, data center, or AI infrastructure applications is preferred.
