Job Overview

The Sales Account Manager (TWN) plays a pivotal role in advancing business strategy, execution, and customer engagement across Asia, focusing on a rapidly expanding key AI client. Working closely with local partners, strengthen strategic partnerships, and ensure seamless collaboration, all while driving the success of this high-priority customer account. This role is accountable for driving profitable growth, shaping long term strategy, and leading local efforts to position TE Connectivity as a trusted, strategic partner. This is a senior, high impact role requiring strong leadership through influence via CMa and directly with customer, deep technical and local market and relationship understanding, and the ability to operate at executive levels both internally and with Customer and with other partners. This position demands exceptional skill in navigating challenging circumstances, adapting seamlessly to uncertainty, and demonstrating remarkable resilience. The ideal candidate will consistently rise to the occasion, not only meeting but surpassing demanding customer expectations, even when faced with intense pressure and ambiguous situations.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities
        Serve as the primary executive interface between the customer and TE Connectivity and CMs
        Align with a global, cross functional team (sales, product management, engineering, supply chain, operations) through a matrix organization
        Drive new business growth by identifying opportunities across TE’s full portfolio, including interconnect and power solutions
        Build deep relationships across engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership at the customer
        Ensure disciplined execution, forecasting accuracy, and proactive issue resolution
        Represent the voice of the customer internally and influence portfolio
        Effectively collaborate with the extended global Account team and meet aggressive customer’s expectations

What your background should look like

    5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or related commercial leadership roles
    Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, strategic accounts
    Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive results via cross functional and global teams
    Strong executive presence and ability to engage credibly with senior customer and internal leadership
    Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills
    High resilience working with demanding customers

Preferred Experience & Knowledge
    Strong understanding of the data center and AI ecosystem, including racks, systems, and overall architecture
    Experience with interconnect products (connectors, cables, sockets) and data center power at the tray and rack level.
    Knowledge of the semiconductor and AI industry, including hyperscale and system OEM environments.
    Background working with complex, technically driven customers in fast paced, high growth markets.
