Job Overview

We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a Sales Operations Manager in the Channel Business Unit.  Our Sales Operations Team is responsible for developing and implementing the SalesForce (SFDC) strategy and project roadmap, channel supply & logistics programs, sales compensation plans and overall data and analytics strategy.   This role will be the global lead for Channel SFDC projects and the main interface with TE’s technology team and will drive projects, budgets, approvals as well as interface with Channel executives on all related projects and data needs.  This role requires SFDC technical expertise as well as vision (lead, opportunity, quoting).  This role will also manage two to three direct reports supporting global sales processes.

Key Tasks: 

  • Set the priority and need for Channel SFDC projects for Sales and CJM
  • Present best options for SFDC projects and related budgets for each fiscal year
  • Manage sales leadership stakeholders on needs and expectations for all projects
  • Interface with TEIS on projects who use Agile approach to project management and delivery
  • Drive user stories and process design as well as be the SME for Channel as Sprint methods for project delivery are rolling out the project coding.  Correct and drive development before anything goes into production for the business
  • Support the progress of Sales Processes not in SFDC such as sales compensation design and Customer Service and Inside Sales for Channel
  • Ability to work across BUs to build relationships and represent Channel as the process owner for global design and delivery of the sales pipeline, CJM and quoting roadmap
  • Set the structure for account ownership within SAP as well as SFDC across all BUs on an annual basis.
  • Assist in creation of training content and delivery to sales teams globally on projects and key process changes



  • Proactive communication with stakeholders and strong people management skills
  • Experience with Salesforce platform, architecture and designs.
  • Should possess good Salesforce out of the box Configuration knowledge.
  • Ability to build all standard reporting views within SFDC for Pipeline / Funnel and Conversion / Closure reporting
  • Strong Salesforce integration experience SFDC and SAP and other web services tools.
  • Advise on best practices including integration and application development (balancing configuration with customization), deployment & testing
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Should be able work as a individual and with the team to have smooth project life cycle ( to design, analyze, code, test, and implement) solutions for business process needs.
  • Should be able to drive the team along in project implementations and help/provide training to the team to meet project goals.
  • The Salesforce (SFDC) Architect works as a subject matter expert with deep technical expertise in as well as deep industry expertise.
  • You will be responsible on complex, integrated projects, leveraging knowledge of application development methodologies , Sales Operations , and other technologies to produce comprehensive solutions and provide direction for entire programs, projects or project teams.
  • You will be responsible for solutions, strategy, and drive innovation and efficiency, and will be called upon to provide business strategy and technology road maps for clients.
  • Write technical Specifications from Business Requirement Document.
  • Developing sales programs, sales process strategy, evaluating and implementing improvements to sales programs and processes.
  • Need to have at least one SFDC certification (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Platform Developer, Community Cloud)
  • Must be open for travel on domestic/international business trips if required.
  • Should possess good communication skills to directly interact with client and drive business meetings.
  • Should Drive SFDC admin team and help grow in designing solutions.
  • Fluent in English (Verbal & written) is mandatory, additional language skilla are an advantage
