Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

Role Statement

Develop and implement quality plan,  policies and systems; and measurement control  ensuring TE Suzhou’s product quality meet customers and internal  standards, collecting quality data and  make action plan  with relevant team member

 

Key Responsibilities/Objectives

  1. Policies and Procedures

Follow quality department policies and procedures, and provide working guidelines and directions for section employees and ensure section employees fully compliance with corporate policies.

 

  1. Quality Systems
  • Follow quality manual and procedures.
  • Organize and implement quality awareness training according to the training plan provided by Manager
  • Take part in the internal audit
  • Prepare the action plans and take the actions

 

  1. Process Quality Control
  • Responsible for implementation of complete quality control system for plating product;
  • Establish a complete feedback match for customer complaint;
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity and system deficiency;
  • Develop application of quality specifications in both the customer requirements and product specifications;
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement through the application of lean manufacturing techniques;
  • Improve performance according to reduce DPPM. COPQ. Customer complaint and so on;
  • Preparing documents such as PPAP, QIP, Control Plan and etc.;
  • Implement internal audit and set up product audit plan;
  • Collecting product related quality information and Coaching IPQC to improve their professional skill.

Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

 

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering;
  2. 3 years or above related experience;
  3. Preventative attitude and quick response;
  4. Highly focused on results and objectives;
  5. Knowledge of Quality Systems
  6. Process improvement especailly in plating field
  7. Good communication and negotiation skill
  8. Understanding of engineering techniques
  9. Fluent English/Mandarin
