• Innovate original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice.
• Responsible for product development and qualification from market definition to production and release.
• Communication with customer independent for product development and provide different concept for customer review and discussion.
• Leading product design with across function team such as cable assembly /coaxial connector.
• New technical research for product iteration
• Conduct feasibility study and testing on new/modified designs.
• Lead and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp.
• Provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, 3D Model, 2D drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements.
• Create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.
• Assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver qualified parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes.
• Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.

What your background should look like:

1.B.S. of Engineering or Master or PHD, Mechanical Engineering preferred

2.B.S. of Engineering with 15 or more years of experience and at least 8 years of automotive connector design recently.

3.Master of product development process and related product manufacturing process.

   Master of low voltage connector detail design and application.

   Master of special characteristic significance for customer and TE.

   Master of basic automotive industry core tools, such as APQP, FMEA and PPAP.

4.A complete understanding and wide application of technical theories, principles, engineering tools and techniques, such as: GD&T, DFM, DFA, DFSS, etc.

5.Ability to freely use Cero software and drawing design, tolerance calculation.

6.Be familiar with stamping, plating, molding, assembly and machine application.

7.Be familiar with the relevant technical standards and law regulations.

8.Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships. 

9.Effective Interaction and communication within the organization.

10.Predominantly intellectual work spirit in nature.

11.Effective communication with customers.

12.Be familiar with related automotive standards such as USCAR, SAE, etc.

13.Be familiar with automotive connector application such as cable/coaxial

14.Can leading product design with across function team such as cable assembly /coaxial connector.

15.knowledge of relevant new technologies, materials, equipment and market trends. 

16.Awareness of cultural differences that may exist in business and technical practices and applying them effectively in global interactions.

17.Good communication with customer independent for product development and provide different concept for customer review and discussion.
