The Project Manager Sustaining Projects AUT EMEA is responsible for initiating, preparing, executing, monitoring and actively driving replacement and duplication projects within AUT EMEA.

Your main tasks

    Define the right project team set-up, negotiate resources, conduct regular Go-Meetings and prepare/maintain an Open Point Tracking list
    Dedicated assignments and targets will be defined by the Sustaining Manager and/or the Director Sustaining Tooling Capacity (Plant and or Supplier responsibility)
    Close the projects on time and support the overall target approach to shorten the time to market of sustaining projects from appr. 2 years to less than 1 year
    Support to develop fast track decisions in all project phases from request to industrialization, including e.g. make/ buy decisions, value stream, CER and business case preparation, if needed
    Continuously improve the tracking and reporting of sustaining supplier activities (tool needs), such as duplication and replacement by entering all needed data into the sustaining tool app
    Solve project related cross functional issues between team members and work on quick and pragmatic solutions
    As a project leader he/she takes care about the development of all project steps and aligns with pears and managers of all areas needed such as:
o    Compare and define best replacement/duplication concept in close cooperation with project team and strive for Capex and Opex approval
o    Initiate Clearing-House Process and stakeholder analysis and do a sanity check together with the project team to ensure a qualitative and complete product release concept/sample matrix
o    Coordinate a senseful PCN process for adequate communication between TE Sales and Marketing and their customers or in case of complex projects align on the validation and customer approval strategy
o    Coordinate validation execution in close alignment with product engineering and test competence center and go for testing capacity in time
o    Drive the defined organizations for customer approvals

    He/She supports the defined system development initiatives and raises ideas for improvements
    He/She supports to maintain and develop the “Sustaining Tool App” towards a more effective and efficient data base
    He/She is accountable for following the relevant standards, e.g. QMP and SWI, and is responsible to raise improvement ideas
    Work closely together with Core Team leaders in order to define and execute customer needs (PCN, Validation concepts, Customer approvals, …)

Your ideal background

Engineering Degree in a related field
5+ years of experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Strong knowledge of tool and equipment build processes.
Practical expertise in manufacturing processes, particularly plastic injection molding, stamping, and assembly.
Experience in supplier management is a strong advantage.
High level of engagement, assertiveness, and proactive attitude.
Demonstrated project leadership skills with a focus on delivering results.
Strong customer orientation and a high level of dedication.
Understanding of TE plants, tool shops, and supplier capabilities.
Solid knowledge of the TE product portfolio and scope.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Englis
