Summer Intern - Instructional Designer

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

 

As a Learning Designer & Developer Intern within our Channel Solution Center Operations Support team, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to:
 
· Partner with Subject Matter Experts to create training content for front line Consultants & Team Leaders to be successful in a Sales & Service environment
· Design and develop learning materials using established design models for instructor led, eLearning & micro-learning content and other learning related materials
· Deliver results in a fast-paced organization with multiple competing priorities
· Work with a diverse global team located in different time zones that requires occasional scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business

What your background should look like:

What your background should look like:
· Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
· Enrolled in an accredited University or College in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program for the duration of the internship 
· Majoring in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology with an understanding of design models or Technical Writing/Communications 
· Experience in project planning, assessing training needs and creating storyboards 
· Preferred experience in Customer sales or service


Work Location: 
This remote/work from home position is managed out of our Middletown, PA location.
