Position Overview

The Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering ICT is a Core-Team Member Manufacturing Engineering in the Customer Focus Team according to the Lean PD Process V2.
He is the internal interface between project management, development, purchasing, costing, production and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities


  • Supporting product development in optimising the design in terms of manufacturability
  • Preparation of enquiries for prototype tools (investments and parts)
  • Preparation of enquiry documents for series tools
  • Preparation of tooling concepts for series injection moulding tools and processes 
  • Compilation of the best possible processes and tools for the preparation of calculations and for the preparation of management decisions.
  • Preparation of the specification for the construction taking into account the necessities for the respective product
  • Checking and approval of the moulds according to the specifications

What your background should look like:

  • Master craftsman, technician or engineer with relevant professional experience in the field of toolmaking, preferably in the field of plastic injection moulding, experience in/with silicone/2K technology an advantage
  • Extensive understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience in project management
  • Customer orientation and high commitment
  • Eager to identify and implement continuous improvements
  • Confident appearance, communication and team skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Knowledge of MS Office programmes and, if applicable, company-specific programmes
  • Class B driving licence
  • Willingness to travel 10-20 %
