Job Overview

Manages internal and external technical resources, identifies, and mitigates project risks, including data security, quality, and timeframe.

Job Requirements

  • Facilitating the maintenance, support, and upgrade of existing systems; coordinating and communicating system upgrades, enhancements, and changes with vendors and internal customers.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for the selection, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise information systems.
  • Providing management and oversight of multiple complex technology projects and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels in formulating plans and activities to support project implementation.
  • Coordinating and managing activities related to the design, configuration, and implementation of the organization's enterprise information systems.
     

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all SAP BASIS functions in the hybrid SAP landscape.
  • SAP Database management on DB2, HANA Technologies
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, recoverability of the SAP and related systems
  • Definition, planning and implementation of system operations - System Refresh, Solution Monitoring and HA/DR solution
  • Review change requests and coordinate system outage windows.
  • Provide SAP BASIS and Architecture leadership and support including analysis, tracking, and problem resolution.
  • Oversee BASIS technical direction across multiple projects and systems.
  • Good knowledge of SAP releases and patches, including applying OSS notes.
  • Develop Roadmaps for upgrades.
  • Collaborate and provide excellent customer service to end users by working closely with the Architecture, Functional, Development, BASIS, and Security teams and project teams, to deliver high quality solutions on time.
  • Ability to work periodic evenings and weekends for production support and implementations as needed.

Desired Candidate

  • 6+ years of SAP Basis Administrative Experience
  • Hands on Experience with SAP HANA Database
  • Experience with SAP ERP implementation projects of moderate to high complexity, SAP S/4 Hana a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager function like System Monitoring, ChaRM etc…
  • Experience with Databases such as HANA or DB2
  • Experience with SAP applications in Private clouds.
  • Experience with integration technologies platforms such as BTP, CPI, Cloud Connectors
  • Experience with SLT, Datasphere, Archiving functions
  • Experience with SAP Fiori Administration
  • Experience with Audit activities
  • Experience with Basis functionality in areas of performance monitoring, tuning and systems configurations, researching, designing and implementation of solutions, and Planning and executing of SAP Support and upgrade projects.
  • Experience with managing Service Partners in the delivery of technical solutions in SAP environments.
