Plant HR Manager (m/f/d)

job overview:

As HR Lead you will advise the plant management on all strategic HR decisions and change management measures at the Speyer site and the Wört Dinkelsbühl site.
You are a manager and coach for 2 local HR teams in Speyer and Wört/Dinkelsbühl and are responsible for local HR strategies and modern HR concepts to achieve the goals of the respective production site. 
 

 

your tasks:

  • You are a strategic manager, business-oriented advisor and initiator for the plant management and the management in all HR issues.
  • As HR site manager for several sites, you are the HR reference point for the management team and advise them primarily on operational issues 
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to management on key business initiatives and business-related issues and processes
  • Consulting and support in change management mainly in operational matters
  • Cooperative and solution-oriented collaboration with the works council
  • Leadership and development of the HR team
  • Collaboration within the global HR organization (Business Unit HR, Service Center, Re-cruiting organization and COEs)

  
Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business and/or human resources
  • Experience working in global or international organizations, ideally in matrix or-ganization
  • Experience in managing employees 
  • Experience in working with works council
  • HR knowledge from industry or production environment mandatory 
  • Solution and business orientation
  • Functional HR expertise: talent management, HR operations, compensation and benefits, employee relations, labor law  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly between the two locations
