Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

What your background should look like:

Strategic Leadership:
•    Design, implement, and oversee the execution of the regional manufacturing strategy in alignment with the business unit strategy global objectives.
•    Ensure all plants operate efficiently while meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Customer-Centricity:
•    Act as the primary escalation point for customer quality issues in the region.
•    Work closely with customers to resolve complaints and ensure long-term satisfaction.
•    Foster a customer-first culture, enforcing containment measures to prevent defective products from reaching customers.
Talent Management:
•    Provide leadership to plant-level Quality and Operations teams across the region.
•    Mentor and develop Quality Managers and their teams to drive high performance.
•    Promote cross-site collaboration and alignment with corporate policies.
Performance & Continuous Improvement:
•    Lead regional improvement initiatives to reduce defects, enhance reliability, and optimize processes.
•    Monitor key manufacturing and quality metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
•    Drive standardized best practices and lessons learned across all plants.
Quality Management System, Processes & Standards:
•    Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) of the business unit and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
•    Oversee internal/external audits and manage regulatory compliance.
•    Lead customer audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
Quality Assurance & Control:
•    Standardize quality assurance and control processes, including inspections, documentation, and change management.
•    Implement Quality Core Tools, preventive/corrective actions, and defect-reduction programs.
NPI & Engineering Changes:
•    Ensure early plant involvement in New Product Introductions (NPI) and Engineering Changes (EC).
•    Secure plant quality sign-off before production starts, including footprint transitions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•    Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve quality and operational issues.
Compliance & Ethics:
•    Enforce strict adherence to safety, environmental, legal, and ethical regulations.
•    Uphold the company’s purpose, values, and corporate governance standards.
