STAFF MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER

Role and Responsibilities:
 
•    The position is project engineering-oriented beginning with system concept and continuing through the end of system life. Specific responsibilities include the preparation of machine performance and test specifications; verification and ultimate approval of supplier designs; engineering follow through manufacturing, test, and installation. 
•     Works closely with product managers to ensure development meets or exceeds customer requirements. This includes ensuring that product designs are well document and communicated. 
•     Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities 
•     Project Planning and Project Management with a special focus on local supplier cooperation.
•    Maintain standard compliance (CE) 
•    Participate in a cross functional project teams with scientists, technical support and other engineers to diagnose mechanical and system issues. 
•    Document mechanical design and write technical specification for their use. 
•    Provides mechanical and system support to the engineering departments as directed.
•    Performs work by instructions and design concepts making independent decisions in developing electrical design concepts of/for complex production mechanisms
•    Prepares detailed mechanical and electrical design drawings and reviews the adequacy of design features and general cost estimates. Completes the overall electrical design and layout upon approval of the basic concept.

Qualifications:
•    6 -10 years working experience mechanical design, industrial automation will be preferred.
•    Bachelor degree and above major in Engineering.
•    Good commend of English (oral and written)
•    Knowledge of mechanical and mechatronic design. Connector termination tooling will be a bonus.
•    Understanding of PLC programming.
•    Knowledge of pro-E, solid works, CAD (CREO) will be a bonus.
•    Strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach logical conclusions and decisions; results oriented; relies on fact-based logic for decision-making.
•    Demonstrated organizational and management skills, and achieving quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration, including customers and suppliers.
•    Ability to work independently on multiple projects/work streams at one time; must be able to formulate analyses and reports and deliver results based upon project deadlines..
•    Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
•    Comfortable in communication with all levels of the organization, from production to executive management.
