Job Overview

TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Overview:

To lead & guide the talent acquisition for timely deployment of resources in China. Establish and maintain appropriate staff resources of the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure that China recruitment strategy is being developed and implemented effectively to attract and retain talent. The role will report to China Senior Human Resources Director.

 Key responsibilities include: 

•    Establish TA hub structures in each cluster with the best leverage of capacity and capability to support local business needs.
•    Create and sustain effective acquisition practices and processes that drive functional excellence in the team, such as recruitment manual, internal job postings, vendor management, etc.
•    Lead and drive executive hiring with solid understanding on related talent market trends
•    Build up a robust country wide talent database that can maximize the efficiency of the hiring resources across clusters.
•    Enhance line manager and candidate experiences through the recruitment interactions by leverage all reachable social medias; 
•    Work closely with business teams and HR partners to understand talent needs and devise a hiring strategy for the business to get the resources with requisite capabilities.
•    Drive talent mapping and external talent pipeline initiatives working for specified business units. Help in the brand building for TE Connectivity within the industry, search partners and internal employees. 
•    Ensure the team is optimizing usage of the global recruitment system for applicant tracking and candidate database setup.
•    Drive and review the effectiveness of interviewing skills; Provide refresher course on the topic as & when required; Guide the Panel during interview in order to ensure that hiring meets the expected capabilities.

Job Requirements:    

•   BS/BA degree or above; 
•   Typically requires minimum 8+ years of professional working experience in Recruiting and Staffing.
•    Demonstrated experience with working collaboratively across businesses within a highly matrixed organization and achieving excellent results.
•    Demonstrated experience contributing, implementing and executing on thoughtful project/recruiting strategies and then methodically working those projects to successful completion.
•    Fully knowledgeable of executive recruiting techniques, recruitment plan development, sourcing methods (executive referrals, research, direct sourcing, internet search, executive search firms, etc.), vendor relationship management, executive compensation strategies, external community and agency relationship management.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Products and LinkedIn Recruiter.
