Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordination of operations strategic plan/budget
  • Coordination of operations forecasting process including collection, consolidation and analysis of legal entity/plant input files. Trading company by region.
  • Compilation and analysis of productivity bridges, metal headwinds/tailwinds, risks and opportunities
  • Coordination of the preparation of management reports for various business reviews (QBR, QOR, Deep Dive etc.)
  • P&L Estimation, Flash & Actual analysis, performance management
  • Analysis of productivity drivers, identification of risks and opportunities to business performance
  • Improved middle part analysis, including MV, PPV, Inv PFO/Scrap, Hedge and Freight
  • Provide SIP/PMIP/AIP/PBP schedule
  • Non-Plant CER review 
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and values
  • Coordination of TEOA_F (operation finance)
  • Provision of ad hoc reporting as needed

Requirements for Job Holder

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. An CPA or CMA is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of Operations FP&A experience; Plant Controlling is an advantage
  • Strong business analysis skills with an ability to "see the big picture" and anticipate future consequences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication/presentation skills 
  • Commitment to timeline, ability of cascade task and information properly
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Positive and energetic approach with a “can-do” attitude 
  • Culturally sensitive with international experience 
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization

 

This is a key role in the finance department that owns efforts to improve financial integrity, consistency, efficiency, standardization and transparency.
