DEMAND ANALYST I

Position Overview

The Demand Planner position is responsible for Korea region forecasting activities associated with Sales, PMs and factory partners. The position creates and maintains forecast models and incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, customers, product management and other sources. The Demand Planner responsible for Product lines in support of the Korea Auto BU forecast within Sales and Inventory Operation Planning (SIOP).

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Sales demand forecasts
-Develop demand forecasts for key customers and product lines in support of the AUT sales forecast.
-Review historical sales trends, analyze demand drivers, evaluate accuracy of forecast results.
-Interact with other functions to understand forecast drivers, gain consensus and improve accuracy of forecast.
-Maintain and input information in the demand planning software (IBP).
-Provide long term forecast for additional investment review meetings.
Conduct and attend local & AP SIOP meetings    
-Responsible to run monthly demand review as part of the Sales and Inventory Operation Planning (SIOP) and propose improvements where actions required.
-Attend monthly supply review and provide preparation of data for the monthly supply review meeting.
Attend AP & global SAP, IBP projects    
-Responsible to attend system improvement meetings and follow up the progress.

•Fast learner and capable of adapting to new requirements and systems.
•Strong MS office operation skill (Excel).
•Knowledge of automotive supply chain and manufacturing site preferred.
•Sales Support/Sales Admin./CS experienced preferred.
•SAP experience is preferred.
•Basic verbal and written communication skills (English).
