Join our team as a Regional Product Manager and take charge of developing regional product strategies and overseeing new product introductions in the EMEA market. You'll play a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive view of the regional market, working closely with internal and external partners to ensure a profitable and successful product portfolio.
Your main tasks:
- Articulate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct market segmentation to devise segment-specific strategies.
- Analyze competitors and benchmark products.
- Support Operations/Manufacturing with product demand forecasts.
- Develop value propositions tailored to beat the competition.
- Design go-to-market strategies, including channel strategies and partnerships.
- Manage product lifecycles aligned with the global product strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape sales and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Lead conflict resolution impacting customer experience.
- Enable sales through training and collateral development for product promotion.
- Manage special pricing requests and participate in customer meetings to secure new business opportunities.
Your ideal profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product, or Manufacturing Management.
- Preferably holds an advanced degree (MBA) or relevant business management experience.
- Experience in Relays, or related industries like automation, robotics, motion & drive is advantageous.
- Strong commercial and marketing skills, with an ability to derive insights from Voice of Customer (VOC).
- Experience utilizing commercial tools such as VOC, Market Segmentation, Strategic Pricing, and effective customer communication.
- Proficient in influencing others and achieving objectives through collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Industrial product markets.
- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
