We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our Szczecin plant. In this role, you will lead a 20+ person team, partner with plant and regional leadership, and drive customer service, operational excellence, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement while supporting broader transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supply Chain Leadership
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment of demand, capacity, materials, inventory, and shipments
Act as the main site contact for supply chain, driving priorities, escalations, and cross-functional collaboration
Represent Supply Chain within the site leadership team and contribute to business and operational decisions - People Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and develop a 20+ person team, setting clear objectives and supporting capability building and succession planning
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making - Planning, Inventory & Delivery Performance
Oversee production planning, scheduling, material planning, and shipment readiness
Drive delivery performance, inventory health, schedule adherence, billing discipline, and risk resolution
Balance customer service, operational efficiency, inventory, and cost objectives - Process Excellence & Transformation
Improve supply chain standards, SAP planning discipline, reporting, and governance
Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning, inventory, shipment execution, and Lean operations
Your ideal background:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Production Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment, including leadership of planning teams
- Proven experience developing teams, building accountability, and supporting succession planning
- Experience in a high mix / low volume manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, including planning, MRP, master data, inventory, and shipping processes
- Good understanding of key supply chain KPIs, including delivery performance, inventory, planning accuracy, lead times, schedule adherence, and billing discipline
- Experience leading supply chain transformation, standardization, or operational excellence initiatives
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
