Are you a transformative commercial leader ready to shape the future of a global Industrial Automation & Electrification business? We are seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Excellence to lead our global commercial transformation agenda and elevate our go‑to‑market, customer engagement, and marketing strategy across the business.
In this high‑impact role, you will act as the strategic integrator between product, sales, marketing, and demand planning—building a scalable, data‑driven commercial operating system that accelerates growth and strengthens market presence.
This is a remote role based in Europe.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
- Commercial Strategy & Transformation
Own the global Commercial Excellence roadmap and transformation governance.
Drive cross‑functional alignment and executive‑level decision‑making.
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
Define a unified global marketing strategy aligned to commercial priorities.
Strengthen brand positioning and ensure consistent market execution worldwide.
- Customer-Centricity & Segmentation
Advance CVP development, VOC programs, and precise customer segmentation.
Build stronger, insight‑led customer engagement models.
- Go-to-Market & Sales Model Optimization
Redesign coverage models and sales methodologies to expand market reach.
Ensure tight integration between product, marketing, and sales for launch excellence.
- Digital & Data Enablement
Accelerate the adoption of Salesforce CRM, analytics platforms, and insights tools.
Build executive dashboards and maturity frameworks for commercial performance.
- Profitability & Incentives
Govern Sales Incentive Plans and customer program economics in partnership with Finance.
Ensure strong ROI and disciplined commercial investment.
- Leadership & Culture
Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement across global commercial teams.
Develop talent and strengthen commercial capabilities across regions.
What your background should look like:
- 15+ years’ experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Leadership, Commercial Strategy, Sales Operations, or Marketing.
- 5+ years in a global leadership role within complex, matrixed environments.
- Proven success leading large scale commercial transformation.
- Experience in industrial, technology, manufacturing, consumer, or healthcare sectors.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM, BI tools, forecasting, and analytics.
- Strategic thinker with strong influencing skills and the ability to operate at both executive and operational levels.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- Global mindset and willingness to travel.
