Team size: PSS Global Operations team (5 plants and PSS supply chain)

The Power and Signal Solutions (PSS) subvertical (SV), a ~$450 Million global business within the $1.3 Billion IND Business Unit. IND PSS is a global stand-alone P&L and a leader in some of the market segments (Connectors, Sensors and Electromagnetic solutions) served, with significant organic and inorganic growth opportunities and potential for further expansion on a global scale.
Job Requirements

- Provide end-to-end leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, and operational excellence
- Oversee five plants across Europe, Asia and South America and ensure alignment with business goals
- Deliver year-over-year productivity, cost reduction, and quality improvement
- Ensure compliance with global safety, regulatory, and operational standards
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure flawless execution of new product introductions and scale-up manufacturing
Strategy
- Lead global operations strategy aligned with business goals
- Refresh 5-year operations plan including footprint, automation, insourcing/outsourcing
- Participate in strategy formulation for IND PSS SV
- Sparring partner for SV VP GM on Operations strategic and transformation priorities
- Support M&A due diligence and integration
Execution
- Oversee multi-plant operations ensuring quality, delivery, productivity
- Implement KPI cadence for safety, quality, OTD, inventory
- Drive major projects: product launches, capital programs, automation, footprint migration
- Deliver measurable improvements using Lean/Six Sigma
- Manage cost, financial metrics, and operational scorecard
Talent
- Lead global operations team (up to 3000+ employees)
- Develop diverse workforce, health talent pipeline and robust succession plan through talent assessment and development plans in the OLR (talent review) processes
- Mentor plant and supply chain managers; build high‑performing teams
- Drive culture of accountability, growth mindset and continuous improvement
- Build leadership and workforce capabilities in low‑cost countries where appropriate
- Drive transformation and change management in supporting the organization
1-Year Success Factors
- Developing deep understanding of business and operational strategy
- Refreshing the 5‑year operations plan (footprint, automation, outsourcing/insourcing) based on the new organization
- Establishing and delivering KPI cadence across safety, quality, OTD, inventory, and productivity
- Plam, organize and deliver transformational projects for Brazil Sensor factory, Supply chain resilience for Europe and productivity engine in Thailand
- Executing major operational programs on time and within budget (launches, capex, automation, migrations)
- Building a comprehensive talent strategy, including assessment, development, EVC, diversity and succession planning
What your background should look like
Must Have experience
- 15+ years of experience in global manufacturing operations
- Strong background in electrical, industrial, automotive, or engineered products
- Proven experience leading multi-site, multi-region operations
- Experience managing complex global supply chains and high-mix/low-volume environments
- Strong leadership capabilities with ability to influence at all levels
Experience prefers to have
- Demonstrated track record in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- M&A and integration experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred
- Lead and collaborate in complex, matrixed, global structures
- High‑level influencing to drive cross‑functional alignment
- Change management experience in leading organization and cultural transformation
- Executive‑level communication and global relationship‑building
- Demonstrate right emotional intelligence to stay calm under pressure, able to flex style, and thrive in ambiguity
