Job Overview

Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Capital budgeting and forecasting 
  • Control of CIP accounts, capitalizing assets on a timely manner
  • Analysis of transactions and budget of each CER
  • Execution follow-up of each CER
  • Reclassification of transactions that are not capitalizable 
  • Manage Capital requests
  • Analysis of cost of each equipment or improvement to be capitalized
  • Follow-up of advance payments and registration error by AP
  • Fixed assets physical counts and tagging, excel on its controls
  • Maintain the fixed assets subledger, control cost and depreciation, report it during close
  • Asset movement control
  • Identify impairment of assets and any write off needs and recommendations
  • Disposal of fixed assets
  • Support projects (transfers) from the financial aspects, being the main contact to all PM’s 
  • Strong procedure knowledge and able to educate other on them
  • Build strong relationship with key stakeholders including corporate clients
  • All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience. 
  • Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred/Medical Device industry experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in Capital and fixed assets process cycles
  • General accounting background is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration
