Job Requirements

Knowledge

  • Industrial Engineer Degree or alike
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement, cost savings or other productivity improvement role.
  • Lean Certified
  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certified
  • Experience in process improvement, Six Sigma, product and process qualification and validation
  • Language: Bilingual English / Spanish


Skills    

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Proficient in Excel Pivot Charts and Macros, Power Point, MS Project, AutoCAD or alike, Minitab and Simulation software
  • Knowledge in problem-solving techniques
  • Basic knowledge in creating dashboards in PowerBI
  • Basic knowledge in Power Automate or alike.
  • Ability to work under pressure, good communications skills and teamwork.
  • Experience in process improvement, Six Sigma
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organization to achieve the Operational Excellence goals and culture. - Desirable

What your background should look like

Facilitate, Lead or coach Kaizens, event Kaizens across the company.
Work together with the TEOA tool or element  owners to implement the different tools.
Lead  and audit the TEOA tools.
Train the organization’s teams in TEOA and Continuous Improvement tools, element, tranformaction and Lean methodologies. For example: 5S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, VSM^D, CCF, 3P, lean Manufacturing among others.
Facilitate and train  in  tranformation  kaizen event  on the most impacfull cells/area. 
Get the TEOA Certification on Novice, Apprentice and practitioner
Coach to TEOA Novice and apprentice
Train and coach  plant Key performance indicators
Reports periodically progress on TEBIT and TEOA assigned tools and metrics.
Capacity analysis, coach and mentor production supervisors on how to manage line capacity
Ability to create scenarios for capacity planning including footprint analysis
High knowledge on line balancing and implications for a realistic plan (cross-training, validations, capacity planning, hiring process, etc.)
