Job Overview
Leads the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction of the Costa Rica manufacturing site. Holds full accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. Drives operational excellence, ensures compliance with all medical device regulations, and delivers business results aligned with TE Connectivity’s strategic objectives. Serves as the primary leader of the site, representing the business with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
•Own and deliver site performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory
•Lead daily operations across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and support functions
•Drive a Lean / Continuous Improvement culture, delivering measurable productivity and cost improvements
•Ensure effective execution of SIOP to align capacity, demand, and inventory strategies
•Own full site P&L performance, including cost control, margin improvement, and capital deployment
•Develop and execute annual operating plans aligned with business objectives
•Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO13485, and all applicable medical device regulations
•Lead site readiness for internal and external audits
•Drive a zero-incident safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS regulations
•Build and develop a high-performing leadership team through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
•Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management processes
•Translate business strategy into site-level execution plans and support growth initiatives
•Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regional stakeholders
•Maintain facility, infrastructure, and security systems to support operational continuity

Qualifications:
•13+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in medical devices
•5+ years of progressive leadership and people management experience
•Prior experience in cross-functional roles such as Finance, Materials, Engineering, Supply Chain, or HR
•Proven P&L ownership and financial management experience
•Strong background in Lean / Operational Excellence
•Experience with regulated environments (FDA / ISO13485)
•Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
•Strong computer skills including ability to analyze data and trends
