Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. WThey create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. We are looking to add an Inventory Control Specialist to the team. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Receive parts (make, customer furnished, purchased and returns) into stock
  • Create shop orders to maintain availability of stock/non-inventory items
  • Pull parts and assembly kits as per bill of material and deliver to Production Dept.
  • Perform stock checks and daily inventory cycle counts
  • Create various inventory and parts labeling
  • Deliver assemblies, parts, kits etc. to shipping
  • Perform other duties in Stockroom/Shipping/Receiving as assigned.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions.


  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of administrative/clerical experience and manufacturing software experience desired.
  • Familiarity with inventory control measures, cycle counts, bill of materials and filing systems desired
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to work efficiently while handling multiple tasks.
