Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

The EMEA QMiP engineer is responsible for the planification of QM activities and management of QM resources during of new product introduction, relocation of production line and changes on existing products/lines projects. On this position your key responsibilities will include:

•    Represents Quality Management in the product introduction core team and is accountable for QM deliverables on time;
•    Supports PIT with facilitation of tools, methods and processes (e.g. readiness check, FMEA, risk management and problem solving, APQP and control plans, statistical analysis, etc);
•    Execute process audits before release o mass production;
•    Supports the project leader and as G-Gate Process Consultant (G-gate process expert);
•    Monitors deliverables of other PIT core team functions from quality perspective (completeness, plausibility);
•    Takes over role of a Sub-Project Leader to manage project contribution of QM experts (internal interfaces).
