Why you should join:

As a Production Planning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Production Planners and ensuring the optimal utilization of production capacity while maintaining a high level of customer service.
This role combines operational planning, data analysis, and people leadership.

 


Your daily tasks:
Team Leadership
•    Lead and coordinate the daily work of the Production Planning team
•    Develop team capabilities and foster accountability for results
•    Ensure effective workload distribution and prioritization
Production Planning
•    Plan and release production orders
•    Monitor production plan execution and implement adjustments when needed
•    Analyze demand versus production capacity
•    Manage production loading, cycle times, and bottlenecks
KPI Management & Analysis
•    Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., On-Time Delivery, Plan Adherence, Capacity Utilization)
•    Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
•    Prepare analyses to support operational decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Work closely with Material Planning, Production, and Quality teams
•    Collaborate with Customer Service on customer order confirmation and prioritization
•    Escalate operational risks impacting the supply chain
Operational Procurement Coordination
•    Support operational purchasing activities based on the production plan
•    Ensure material availability is aligned with production requirements
Continuous Improvement
•    Drive process improvements within the Production Planning function
•    Participate in optimization initiatives related to capacity, lead times, and inventory

 

Your ideal backgriund:

•    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning
•    Experience in a manufacturing environment
•    Previous people management experience is an advantage
•    Experience working with SAP
•    Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and reporting
•    Good understanding of production planning processes, including MRP, capacity planning, and scheduling
•    Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
•    Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
•    Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
•    English minimum B2 level
