Hours: 38-hour Night Shift
We’re looking for a skilled Tool & Die Maker (Night Shift) to support our Wire & Cable and Materials Manufacturing facilities. Tool Care is a critical part of our production process, ensuring that our teams have the tooling they need to meet production priorities.

Job Requirements

•    Clean and prepare tooling for Wire & Cable production and Materials Department Breaker Plates.
•    Work closely with Cell Leaders and Shift Managers to align priorities.
•    Inspect tooling for wear and initiate refurbishment or replacement as needed.
•    Maintain accurate inventory of tooling in rotation and ready for use.
•    Respond quickly to unforeseen tooling issues to minimize downtime.
•    Collaborate with the Tool Care team while working independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience:
•    Proven experience in diverse production environments.
•    Knowledge of Wire & Cable Extruder Heads and associated tooling (advantageous).
•    Ability to work with equipment such as furnaces, gas torches, pillar drills, abrasive wheels, cleaning baths, jet wash, and wet blasts.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
