At TE Connectivity, our Quality teams ensure that products, processes, and suppliers consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Aerospace, Defense & Marine business, supporting supplier quality performance across the UK supply base.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with suppliers, manufacturing sites, sourcing teams, and engineering functions to drive continuous improvement, resolve supplier issues, and strengthen supplier quality performance.

Job Requirements

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) , you will be responsible for driving supplier performance and ensuring suppliers consistently meet TE Connectivity's quality expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the primary quality contact for supplier-related issues and escalations
• Driving supplier performance improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies
• Conducting supplier process, product, and system audits
• Supporting qualification and development of new and existing suppliers
• Leading supplier investigations and driving robust corrective and preventive actions
• Monitoring supplier quality metrics and identifying improvement opportunities
• Analyzing supplier performance trends using quality and ERP system data
• Collaborating with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve supplier issues
• Supporting supplier scorecards, performance reviews, and business reviews
• Ensuring supplier compliance with quality requirements and industry standards
• Supporting APQP, PPAP, FAIR, and change management activities where required
• Promoting continuous improvement through Lean and problem-solving methodologies

What your background should look like

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience within Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering
• Experience managing supplier quality performance and supplier development activities
• Strong supplier auditing experience
• Demonstrated root cause analysis and problem-solving expertise
• Experience working directly with suppliers within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, Defense, Marine, Automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 quality systems
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and supplier qualification processes
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience conducting internal, supplier, or quality system audits
