TE Connectivity’s’ Aerospace, Defence and Marine division (AD&M) is $1.2 Billion Dollar Business Unit which manufactures Connectors, Fibre Optic wires and Harnesses that reliably work in extreme & harsh environments. We have 3 sites in the UK including Swindon, Great Yarmouth & Hastings.

Job Title: Senior Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Overview
The Regional Leader will be responsible for leading and guiding the TE Connectivity CI deployment strategic plan for our Manufacturing sites in Swindon, Great Yarmouth & Hastings. All  are within the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine business unit.

The successful candidate will apply the lean knowledge in all operations areas, such as production, quality, material, maintenance, environment, safety, purchasing and others to address improvements in the service model and productivity across regions.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Continuous Improvement and will be based out of Swindon 50% of the time with the other 50% being spent between Great Yarmouth & Hastings.
Job Responsibilities
Overall the CI Manager will lead their home site of Swindon and also champions and engage with site leads across the region. 


Create a comprehensive strategy for their region and  highlight milestones to achieve a world class operation, through the deploying of TE Continuous Improvement programmes.


Create, plan, lead and follow-up of the Continuous Improvement implementation plan and ensure actions are visual to stakeholders and are driven to a sustainable closure.

Facilitate Kaizen events throughout the based site and support TEOA leaders of sites within the region.  

We would like you to hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.


Key Requirements

Strong background within Manufacturing ideally supporting multiple sites simultaneously.

Lean Practices expertise and implementation of Lean tools.


Excellent communication with the ability to influence at all levels.


Experience in transforming operations is essential.
