Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to join our Swindon team. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise to support and enhance our production operations, while playing an integral role in advancing manufacturing efficiency across the facility.
Your new role:

· Provide day-to-day Engineering support to ensure process stability, product quality, and operational efficiency.
· Develop, implement, and maintain robust manufacturing processes and controls to ensure safe, repeatable, capable and efficient production.
· Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Planning, and technical functions to deliver operational objectives and improve value stream performance.
· Measure equipment throughput, cycle times, and changeover performance against established standards.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies.
· Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing Principles and best practices using tools such as Value Stream Maps, Time & Motion Studies, Operator Balance Charts and workflow analysis.
· Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive process standardisation, consistency, and operational excellence.
· Support capacity planning and resource optimisation through data-driven decision-making.
Your ideal background:
· Hands-on experience in an Engineering role with strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes and production environments.
· HNC, HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
· Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Time and Motion Studies, OEE Analysis, Takt Time Calculations and Process Flow Analysis.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage at all levels.
· Experience in fast-paced production environments.
· Data-driven decision maker.
