Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee daily repairs, services, and breakdown resolution.

  • Troubleshooting: Quickly address equipment issues to minimize downtime.

  • Team Development: Mentor technicians and support apprentices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement preventive strategies and drive efficiency.

  • Collaboration: Align priorities with Production Teams and liaise with other departments.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance and address concerns.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and step in for the Maintenance Manager as needed.

What are we looking for

  • Proven expertise in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in people management, with a track record of team development and leadership.

  • Hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Knowledge of PLC Controls and Motor Drives (a plus but not required).

  • Flexibility to work across multiple machines and production areas requiring different disciplines.

  • Strong technical skills: Proficiency in CMMS software and Office Applications.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to produce and present project justifications.

  • A "lead by example" mindset, promoting teamwork, accountability, and high standards within the Maintenance Team.
