HR Solutions Partner - South West

Maternity cover: 12 months from the end of August / Early September 


Location: Swindon & Bath (50/50)


TE Connectivity is seeking an innovative, results focused HR Solutions Partner to work closely with management, driving operational excellence through effective execution of HR processes and programs. Reporting to the HR Solutions Manager you will work across business units, coaching managers, driving initiatives, implementing HR programmes, driving strategy and fostering an environment for business & employee growth.



  • Focussed on providing HR professional services to a client group of managers and employees across multiple BU’s
  • Implements HR programs for the region ensuring alignment to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Reward. Eg. Employee engagement & culture, succession planning, diversity & inclusion, mergers & acquisitions, leadership development
  • Provides coaching and guidance to managers to ensure timely execution of HR cyclical events
  • Proactively manages employee relations ensuring preventative measures implemented to reduce caseload
  • Partners with management to effectively manage sickness absence
  • Provides advice and guidance to management to support effective hiring decisions.  Assists with critical hires.
  • Understands individual business unit goals, providing HR solutions aligning to business need and HR strategy
  • Coaches management to develop and maintain employee relationships and create a respectful working environment for the region
  • Interprets and communicates company policies ensuring legal compliance.  Assures implementation of broader policy and adherence to external regulations
  • Ensures data is collected, processed and stored in compliance with local legislation
  • Creates insights from data, using trend and metric information to define root cause and develop / design solutions to drive improvement 
  • Uses working HR knowledge to deliver sound customer solutions, building effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Builds close working relationships and communicates effectively with stakeholders across the business, including Finance, IT, UK HR team and COE’s (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Reward) to improve collaboration
  • Actively participates in key projects in line with HR Solutions strategy
  • Applies TEOA (TE Operational Advantage) principles and tools to continuously improve HR processes and services
What your background should look like:
