Job Overview

The HR Solutions Partner will partner with management to implement a variety of human resource policies and programs on a regional level, including employee engagement, HRIS/compensation/benefits, employee relations, organisational and cultural change, talent management/development and succession planning. The role anticipates and plans for long-term HR needs and trends in partnership with designated client group

What your background should look like:

  • Chartered member of CIPD desirable.
  • Previous HR experience in Manufacturing
  • Professional working experience in a HR Generalist/business partnering role.
  • Pragmatic approach with the ability to provide practical and innovative HR solutions.
  • Has demonstrated an ability to provide effective business partnering and employee relations support to managers and employees within a specific segment of a country or region.
  • Coaching and mentoring at management level.
  • Experience of working in a global or international organisation would be an advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to consult with and influence relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation – from shop floor through to senior management.
  • Good level of computer literacy and confident in using Microsoft Office programs. Ability to pick up new systems quickly.

 

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Establishes a credible understanding of the business model and priorities for your region and wider organisation.
  • Supports TE organisational outcomes through strong alignments of HR efforts with balanced enterprise and BU balanced business initiatives.
  • Focused on providing HR professional services to a client group of managers and employees at Plant Manager level and below.
  • Generate “win-win” strategies to gain support for key initiatives from others across boundaries.
  • Coaches and upskills management to develop and maintain employee relationships and respectful working environment for your region through communication, performance management, and matters relating to discipline and grievance.
  • Support effective management practice in addressing long-term and short-term sickness absence.
