Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Take responsibility on supplier performance and raw material quality improvement through supplier status management, supplier Audit, SCAR implementation.

Key Responsibilities/Objectives

Supplier management:
•     Work with sourcing and PDE team on supplier selection and qualification, define  supplier’s ASL Category and ASL Risk Code;
•    Evaluate supplier qualification documentation and retain component qualification records 
•    Maintain the accuracy of ASL,ensure Supplier Profile, Quality Agreement, Supplier Audit, MCDA (Mutual Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement) and Supplier Certification compliant with Global SOP. Maintain SIF(Supplier Information File) for all ASL suppliers;
•    Monitor supplier quality performance regularly;
•    Initiate and follow up SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) for raw material non-conformance and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions;
•    Support Global Supplier Quality for Supplier audit, ensure supplier audits schedules, audit types, audit frequencies, audit outcomes.
•    Lead the supplier quality improvement project for supplier performance improvement and raw material quality improvement

Supplier Engineering
•    Establish and optimizing inspection working instruction & acceptance criteria for raw material. Train up IQC inspectors on inspection method.
•    Handle NCMR (non-conformance materials report) for raw material detected in both IQC& Production Process& Customer Complaint;
•    Handle nonconformance material RMA (Returned Material Authorization), review the MRB status regularly
•     Initiate the Supplier-initiated Change Management process for supplier change notifications
•    Take responsible for related data trending analysis, and prepare of quality reports periodically.
